"This was a complicated forward-funded scheme involving a Travelodge sitting above a KFC Drive Thru restaurant and Bath-store showroom and I was impressed with the pragmatic approach that KFC's development team adopted throughout the process, especially given that this was the first Drive Thru unit of that kind that KFC had taken in the UK. Initial negotiations and legal agreement were swiftly concluded and there was a very close and professional liaison on site between our construction teams. Our hotel operators are pleased that the Drive Thru beneath our hotel has caused no significant issues. A second site is now under contract and in build and we are looking for further repeats of this successful formula."
